Buddy Building Camp, LLC – Summer Camp For Kids

Dr. Lesli’s Buddy Building Camp is a one-week summer camp helping Twice-Exceptional (2e) children and young adolescents learn social interaction and coping skills while building lasting friendships on her Southern California ranch. Campers learn social skills such as team-building, sportsmanship, conflict resolution, and cooperative play through sports, art and nature activities.  We spend as much time as possible outdoors exploring nature and working with the animals on Dr. Lesli’s ranch, playing sports, hiking, and enjoying beach day. In addition, we will visit local museums, go on scavenger hunts, and enjoy art activities.  The camp works on a reward based system wherein the campers earn “Buddy Bucks” that can then be cashed in for prizes.  The summer camp has enjoyed great success in New York City for eight years and hopes to continue this success on the West coast.
