Dr. Lesli Preuss (CA Lic# 23829, NY Lic# 015180) operates a private clinical practice working with parents, families, adolescents and children. Our clinicians generally work within a cognitive-behavioral and/or family systems paradigm and specializes in developing strategies for issues associated with Twice Exceptional, Gifted and ADHD patients. Therapy is focused on skill-building, developing coping strategies, and improving communication within the family. In addition, the practice consults with schools and other professionals in a team-oriented approach to help families and children.

Preuss & Associates utilizes connections between animals and humans to help kids relate, feel comfortable and understand themselves better. It is based on the comparative medical science known as Zoobiquity. By analyzing animal behavior, we can discover new clinical approaches to help children with their behavioral issues. The animal kingdom provides extensive therapeutic insight and potential for treatment and healing. It also presents a novel approach to counseling children and families with opportunities to help them better understand a situation or diagnosis.
