Mytien’s training experiences have centered primarily on children, adolescents, and young adults since 2019. She graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a psychology and child development degree and began working as an ABA intervention behaviorist for children with Autism. Mytien earned her Master’s degree in 2022, and she is currently a PhD candidate in Children’s Clinical Psychology where she has received training in community health centers, college counseling centers, and outpatient hospital settings. Mytien has worked closely with children and adolescents (ages 5-18), young adults, and adults providing psychotherapy services and neuropsychological assessments (e.g., ADHD, learning disorders, dementia, traumatic brain injuries). She has experience in treating anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, ADHD, family-related issues, and adjustment-related concerns. Mytien has a strong background in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities. She is personable and encouraging, and she enjoys working closely with children and adolescents in helping them understand their emotions and express their feelings to those around them!

In her free time, Mytien loves cooking and eating new foods, traveling (to eat new foods), watching the sunset by the ocean, skiing, fishing, and playing CPU games!
